New Roof, installed in November, the Hot Water Heater is new too!! Newer paint and a finished basement as well! Stroll through the neighborhood on the community path that runs behind the home. we will be busy this weekend, hosting not one, but TWO open houses in Stroh Ranch! if you are in the area, stop by and say hi!

i love taking a quick moment to remember the past. compare it with the present and dream about the future. i do a lot of dreaming around here. i was looking at our pictures from last year and found out a gorgeous march, with loads of sunshine and pool time!

at this time, last year:

IMG_3193 IMG_3194 IMG_3214 IMG_3188 IMG_3233 IMG_3241this time last year we were already having fun at the pool!

here is to hoping that this amazing 70 degrees weather doesn’t go anywhere.

i hope there is a lot of jacuzzi time in my near future.

i mentioned here i wanted to find amazing things on etsy from local artists. i searched for all denver artists and found some pretty cool things around me. if you would like to support local artists and search for stores in your area, you can click here!

IMG_1208happy friday, people!

this week was really, really good! we started the week with a picnic that was fantastic, trying to enjoy the nice weather as much as possible. then we worked A LOT. I’m not kidding, i’m tired, but so, so happy! and then there were all the new projects and planning that happens when we get snowed in!

the picture above showcases a bunch of beautiful fabrics and patterns i love and will be part of my next project! i’ll share the news here very soon!

for now, here are some of the most awesome links that kept me entertained this week:

1. this sabon body scrub

2. summer is around the corner (yes, sure, look at all the snow outside) and i tottally need this swimsuit!

3. my new moisturizer from lancome – i’m in love!

4. this post about awesome hotels by deisgnlovefest! – austin, anyone?

5. talking about travel, which shoes do you wear when flying? the new york times suggests this ones!

6. the best vegan ice cream – we are trying to get rid of dairy over here!

7. the graze snack box, recommended by a friend called grazi (i’m not kidding). – healthy snacks delivered by mail. please, sign me up!

8. a piece about the modern domestic – i consider myself to be one and am working on my own piece about how wonderful it is to be a modern domestic woman today!

9. denver restaurant week starts on saturday! i can’t wait and we already have all the restaurants we want to try booked! very soon, i’ll write about them!

have a wonderful weekend!

if the weather is great where you are, enjoy time outside! we are snowed in and i don’t plan on spending anytime freezing here in denver, i’m going to spend the weekend working on various pieces for move 2 denver, running errands, sending thank you gifts to various people that were just awesome lately and preparing for a big oscar’s party i;ll be throwing for myself on sunday!

IMG_9935we took monday off to visit the denver museum of nature and science, located inside city park, here in denver! it was a fantastic, gorgeous day, and we discovered the museum has one of the best views of downtown denver and the mountains in the background! we spent a good amount of time outside, soaking the sunshine, enjoying the gorgeous view.

IMG_9919 IMG_9934 IMG_9947IMG_9933it was our first time at the museum. i gotta say, i was not impressed. after visiting the museum in new york (the new york natural history museum), you can’t really be impressed with the cheap version in denver. sorry, people, but it’s the truth, the comparison is automatic.  we still managed to have fun, though. they had an exhibit about health, where you would create a profile card with your information and you would stop in various stations to collect more information about your health, we had an ekg, we rode a bike for a few minutes, it was super cool and in the end you get a card with your personal info.
